i know some models of the chevy caprice had the digital gauges, but overall the s2k doesnt look outdated and functions very well. but it isnt a lambo digital gauage

I had this one. It came on the rare '88-89 Mazda 323 GTX (AWD turbo), and being optional made it even more rare. It was pretty cool but I hated how the tach numbers became more "compressed" at higher revs, where accuracy is most needed.
See the small spiral in the center of the tach? That's the boost gauge. It would spiral around as boost went up

This thread highlights how digital gauges don't age well...and yes, I think the S2000's looked dated as well. Decent layout, but the color is all wrong. An LCD display would have been much nicer.
