VTEC SOLENOID COVER
Ive been looking for a solenoid cover for my 01 for a while now. Theres really nothing out there other than skunk2 or password jdm. I was told by JDM the OBD1 cover would fit my car so i ordered one. When i went to put it on it just fell on and is really loose. I talked to someone from JDM and they said to silicone or hot glue it to my soleniod?! Is this normal or safe? Dont really like the thought of superglueing my car. What do you guys think?

to tell you the truth that is a waste of money its only for looks and car shows if you want something nice polish it with sand paper its free and looks ten times better than a cap

Just buff it with sand paper until it's bare metal and hit it with some spraypaint. I used aluminum foil to cover the bottom part of the assembly and sprayed the can. If you're gentle you can remove the three bolts and take the whole valve off. Just do it gently so you don't damage the gasket.
