*Hillsboro Honda meet, BBQ & oil filter pick up***

I am very pleased to announce the update for everyone and to solidify this large event for all of us to enjoy each others company, cars, and good food

On January 30th, 2010 from 10am - 2pm Hillsboro Honda is going to host an s2000 meet for all of us to come out and feel welcome

When I first started working on this, I was pleased with the response not only from the dealer (which has been 100% positive), but from all of you guys as well

Both Garret and I are really happy with the final outcome as well as Hillsboro Honda's generosity, especially Dan Shores in the parts department. We have him to thank for all this!! They have been eager to get us there and for us to have a "home" dealership that we can all trust and feel welcome at.

The event will feature some awesome food as they have agreed to an all you can eat BBQ for us much like Forged and PSI did earlier this "off season"

This is one of the rare occasions that we have the potential to have every USDM color produced to be in one place. We will have our own private parking surrounding the outside of the dealership main office in a diamond shape. No worries about door dings.

It will be a really cool photo opportunity! We are going to stagger the color's as much as possible, but depending on the turn out, we may need to double up the silver's.

Soo..The photographers in the group...get your camera's ready!! (ERIC, KYLE, P1 and P2, this means you!

On top of all this there will be a raffle for everyone in attendance. The gifts will be donated from Hillsboro Honda. Also, everyone in attendance is going to receive a Honda door prize.

The Honda rep is confirmed for a 12pm noon!

I truly hope we can make this event one of the largest gatherings we've every had as a "s2000 family" As I said before, let's not waste this opportunity. I am grateful that a Honda dealer has finally reached back with open arms to us and is so excited about having us there.

****Please remember to be respectful to the dealership in terms of revving, peelling out, etc as the dealership is trusting us on this one. They are still selling cars and we are a magnet to get people to come into the dealership***

Update from Larry Miller Honda 1/13/10;

Dan said rest assured there is plenty of parking that will be set aside for us. He also said they are concerned about the weather and that if the weather does turn bad, there will be a substitute of food instead of BBQ, 6 foot subs with "fixin's".

He also wanted me to tell everyone, "Make sure your crew knows we can put on a better spread when the weather is nicer and a little more time to prepare!"
