Because I've never raced my S on a road course I'll ask... Is that true? If so being down does it cause more drag?

Yes

Yeah Cody, having the top down causes a lot more drag on a road course. It's probably negligible at Auto-X speeds though.

I've always been a fan of Greddy's exhaust systems ever since I put the Evo-2 on my Del Sol.

This video is from Nashville Super Speedway this past weekend. I was coming off the front straight through the transition at 125mph topped out in 5th gear. I was pushing to see how late I could brake going into the turn. After the transition, I was hard on the brakes, and didn't trail off of them soon enough. Just a small amount of steering input on the wheel sent me in to a 100mph drift. I was at full opposite lock, and the car was so sideways that the tail was leading, lol. The fun starts about 3/4 of the way into the video:

Thanks again Wynn for the invite to attend the track event. I just don't know how my tires would have held up on the track. they probably have about 50% tread left, but i also have a thing about racing my primary means of transportation to and from work... I've had troubles with doing that in the past. With any luck next year I'll have my house and a DD and it'll be a go.

Here's another one from Barber Motorsports Park. It's a rain session. I drifted the hairpin and spun on the back straight almost hitting the wall:

I think it's more entertaining that you hear me honking at you as I pass by, still under yellow. :D

:spitcoffee: I love how in the video after you spin and several failed attempts to restart your car, you give the camera two quick looks and shut it off. LMAO!

It's only funny cause you walked away from it and your car is fine. Why would your car not start? Is it fixed now?
