Thank you all.

I am not entirely sure on the exact drivetrain loss in comparison, its probably pretty substantial.

This build is pretty mainstream in the K series world. The power is right on par with similarly built K cars. The one advantage we have is in the head design and we will be continuing to build on what we have already started in that department. Jeremy Allen @ inline pro is a genius when it comes to headwork.

The idle on the 2 lobes is absolutely killer - no pun intended haha. The car sounds ridiculous. Everyone comments on how "tough" it sounds idling.

We should be pushing deep into the 10s by the end of the year once the big crank gets put to use.

You guys might get a laugh out of this. Excuse the cheesey look on my face, this was after my first pass in the car this year.
This is a license plate I had made for the car. I assume everyone here can understand the Double meaning haha. Funny part is that the 2 guys I am standing between own 2 of the fastest K cars in the country haha

You can't say that and not provide a vid! I'm itching to hear it

Thanks everyone. I will try to upload an idling video sometime in the next few days. I can't gaurantee the quality of it though haha.

The rods are Inline Pro Steel NA Rods. You can contact them for more info !

I actually run an electric water pump and the car stays very cool without any vents for the radiator.
I pulled the gear off the water pump and welded the plate shut. Eliminated the accessory belt tensioner and water pump pulley drag off of the crank. I made a simple L bracket that bolts to the block and uses a small radius rod to tighten the alternator belt. . .
All of my coolant lines are -12 AN fittings with braided hose . . .
In my own round about way of saying it, the car stays very cool the way it is haha.

Cool! I don't even understand 1% of what it takes to do these kinds of things with cars, but I love reading about it anyway
Haha me too.

Nice to see someone doing something for themselves and not what others think.

Oh and yeah, definitely picked the right S2K engine.

good shit jake, i had no idea your car was 175lbs vs last yr that is nuts!!!

anyways congrats on making all that power, i like how your going a totaly different route, if i were ever to build me something for the all motor class it would deff be a similar setup, the car at honda day sounded the best by far, hopefully u can crack 10.80s...

how much power was the car making last yr??
