low rpm hesisation

low rpm hesisation
Im not sure where to post this, but i think this problem may be due to my CAI intake, so i'll post it here.
I have a 2006 S2000 with and AEM CAI v2 and an Invidia q300 exhaust. I only have had the car for about 3 months, and i am noticing that the car has a "bump" or hesisation as i press the throttle at low RPM's.
Example: If i shift out of first into second at a low rpm range, and while in second, press the gas, their is a significant hesistation before the car gets going. I notice the same in third and fourth. It can almost be described as bad throttle response at low RPM's
Could this be due to my Intake or Exhaust?
Is this just how the car drives?
Any info would be helpful.
Thanks

Check your spark plugs. I've noticed the same thing with MY08. It was due to the fact that my spark plugs weren't very tight.
Now, i think I need to get a new battery.

I felt it when I had my K&N FPIK. Returned it back to stock and I feel it once in a long awhile. I'm thinking it has something to do with the sensor that's different on the 06+.

I have the same hesitation at low RPM, I have stock intake. I'll be upgrading the spark plugs tomorrow. Recently did a compression test maybe the spark plugs weren't tightened enough. I will report back.

Could be a number of things....
You could be running lean in the lower end of the powerband.
You could have an exhaust leak
Have you tried the map whack / clean?
Also, while it may not make a difference you could always try a ecu reset

I just replaced the spark plugs with NGK Iridium and there's no more hesitation & engine runs more smooth. Old plugs had tips worn down bad, car only has 19k, I barely hit V-tec & don't drive the car hard.
