Default ATS/Carbonetics 4.46 mission finals (close gear)

Brand new condition, 1000 km use.

This comes with required AP2 Secondary Shaft.

Info:

Introduction
In replacing the differential final which ATS discontinued a few years ago, ATS has released a new mission final for S2000. By changing the secondary drive gear only, the ATS mission final can provide the same impact as the shorter differential final

Gear Ratio
The teeth number 23 (stock AP1 - 25 & stock AP2 - 24) produces a secondary final gear ratio of 1.261. The gear ratio is shortened by 8.7% for AP1 and by 4.3 % for AP2, which is equivalent to 4.46 and 4.28 for AP1 and AP2 respectively in the differential final.

Note:
1) For AP1, the secondary shaft for AP2 is required to install ATS mission final. (please refer to the diagram below)

2) In exchange for a faster acceleration, the vehicle top speed is reduced according to the shorter gear ratio.

3) Your speedometer will indicate 8.7 % (AP1) and 4.2 % (AP2) faster value than the actual

4)This is quieter than the normal crown and pinon gear.

5)Labour charge for this will be cheaper than take off the differential.

Install tip:

You dont need to take the whole gear box apart but just take the drive shaft off and remove the secondary shaft as from photos.

This weights about 4-5kg

I'm interested (and have the cash lol), but how do swap this in and is it difficult?

Pics where the gear and shaft go:

To install:

You need to disconnect the drive shaft and slide slide the shaft out to do the swap, definately easier than mess with the diff that u will also need to adjust the preload and backlash.

Shipping to USA is roughly $80 by sea mail and $130 by express post (120 by airmail so express is a much more better option)
