Arrow Bolt pattern 5x114.3 or 5x100?

I'm looking to buy some used volks that have a bolt pattern of 5x100. Will these fit okay since our pattern is 5x114.3 I don't understand what the numbers after the 5x are for. Thanks

it is the spacing between each lug therefore 100 is smaller than 114.3 and will NOT fit

EDIT: you can find 5x100 to 5x114.3 adapters but your offsets will be much more aggressive

it won't fit, look for some 5x114 wheels, there are much more out there
