can you tint ur window from outside

Default can you tint ur window from outside

i have a ap2 and i wanted to tint my windows.. i heard some people put the tints on the outside for the back window ? is this true ?? i tried searching but came up empty handed.. please help.. thanks..

You're more likely to get air bubbles or peeling if it's on the outside. It's more exposed to the elements.

but i hear if u do it on the inside, it makes scratches and starts to peel because the way our tops fold down.. is this true ?? has anyone have any experiences with the tints on the inside or the outside ???

Had my tint on the inside for almost 2 years. No scratches or no peeling.

Oh are you referring to the plastic convertible window that was on 99-02's? People use a different kind of tint for that, it's a thicker plastic sheet that is fitted on the outside. If you have a glass window as you should having an AP2, I doubt anything's going to scratch either side of the window while folding.

i had mine on for about three years and and no problems yet.

anyone know the legal limit of the side windows. the shop that did mine 3 years ago moved. is it 15% or 20%? i have to redo it.

I've had mine for a few years now, still looks as good as the day I got it done. No scratches or wear.

Legal limits are local. Georgia is 30%, which ain't enough.

you can spray paint it too


or just have it tinted from the inside and be done with it
