Yes, there are some nice two lanes in terms of scenery and lack of traffic right out of town, but no great curves and certainly no hills. That's why you just have to get to the mountains every now and then. We want to take a drive out to lake Waccamaw. that seems like a good outing. Going to Durham the back way is also a nice drive at the right time of year. I am up for a drive as well.

I would be up a drive in the spring, I've never been to lake Waccamaw. Getting some new sneakers put on Monday, I will need to put some miles on her to break in the new tires before I have to much fun.

Cool. I had Pilot Super Sports put on almost two years ago. Had to replace one right after Christmas (two nails), but it was still under 1/2 warranty which was nice, and my road hazard coverage paid for the rest. Well, except for the torn fender liner from having the strake ripped off from loading the car onto a flatbed--gonna use "Ferrari boards" next time.

I forget, I either Bridgestone Re11-r or Reo1r on now. 7000 miles and they are smoked on the rears. I'm going to try the pole position s04 this time. I don't need super sticky tires
around here, Not sure if I will get anymore life out of them but it's worth a try.

I am sure mine are stickier than I need, but I do like them, and one of the reasons I bought them is they are rated highly for longevity for a performance summer tire.

Default Any tuners in the area

I’m looking for a tuner. Is there one in the area that can tune a Kswap?

No worries. I scrolled up and seen the last few posts about the one everyone was talking about. I actually worked at the airport right around the corner from them.
