Yes, there are some nice two lanes in terms of scenery and lack of traffic right out of town, but no great curves and certainly no hills. That's why you just have to get to the mountains every now and then. We want to take a drive out to lake Waccamaw. that seems like a good outing. Going to Durham the back way is also a nice drive at the right time of year. I am up for a drive as well.

Cool. I had Pilot Super Sports put on almost two years ago. Had to replace one right after Christmas (two nails), but it was still under 1/2 warranty which was nice, and my road hazard coverage paid for the rest. Well, except for the torn fender liner from having the strake ripped off from loading the car onto a flatbed--gonna use "Ferrari boards" next time.

around here, Not sure if I will get anymore life out of them but it's worth a try.

I am sure mine are stickier than I need, but I do like them, and one of the reasons I bought them is they are rated highly for longevity for a performance summer tire.
