After owning through 2 s2000s, I'm deeply saddened to put my Moonrock up for sale to make room in the garage. Having made a lot of great friends & serving as team leader for MegaMeets, Homecoming I & II, I will forever cherish my experiences of being a part of such a great community. I've truly loved every moment of ownership & as an active member of this forum.
With that said, I have a very special 2004 Honda S2000 for sale. Purchased back in Oct. 2004, the car now has 61,000 miles. That's about 10,000 miles of driving a year. This is the 2nd S2000 I've owned and as an avid auto enthusiast, I've always pampered my car so it's in great condition!
What makes this S2000 so special? Here are 10 reasons:
1. Color is Moonrock Metallic which was only offered in Japan & Europe. This alone was a $5,000 paint upgrade. This is one of a few known Moonrocks in the entire US.
2. Honda factory body kit include: front lip spoiler & rear trunk deck spoiler. Sporty yet very clean appearance!
3. BRAND NEW upgraded suspension: Koni Yellow Shocks with KgMM race springs. Adjustable height and tension for stiffness. Improves the ride for better handling, cornering, & lower stance appearance. Done in Aug, 2010
4. BRAND NEW softop! The softop is known to develop a small corner tear from use over the years. I've just replaced it with a brand new top so you'll be able to enjoy the car for many years to come! Done in Aug, 2010
5. BRAND NEW battery. Done in Aug, 2010
6. Custom Rick's "S2000" emblems. These "S"+"2000" emblems were very limited in production and no longer offered since Honda made Ricks pull it off the market. They now only sell the version which only has the "S" without the "2000".
7. Comptech Cold Air Ice Box Intake for added power delivery & throatier sound. Air filter is washable so you will never have to pay for new air filter.
8. Mugen 1.3 radiator cap. This radiator cap is a high-pressure type that increases the pressure inside the radiator, thus raising the coolant boiling point and increasing cooling efficiency. The open valve pressure is 1.3kg/cm compared to the normal 1.1kg/cm.
9. Wheels are secured with Honda factory wheel locks. Never worry about getting your rims stolen.
10. Last but not least, I had the radio door cover AUTOGRAPHED by none other than Shigeru Uehara, chief engineer of the S2000 & NSX on the day after his retirement.
As you can see, I've added quite a few upgrades to make it clean and unique. I have the title in hand and registration is paid through March, 2011. Car is located in Irvine, California (The OC).
If you want a very clean S2000 that stands out from the rest, this is the car for you!
