I keep looking in the used car dealership, and have never seen it. I have all the s2000's except the amuse r1 road version. The spoon race car revs to 11k is that accurate?

I don't know much about the Spoon S2000 race car, but IIRC Spoon had an EK-R rev to 11,000rpm. Wayne Park Motorsports also had a modified AP1 with an F20 that had a 10,000rpm rev limit. It was used in the Australian GT Production series for a short time.

I've got all of the non-standard S2000s except for the Amuse GT1 Turbo which I know you can buy from the dealership.

Amuse S2000 GT1 ‘04
Amuse S2000 R1 ‘04
Amuse S2000 Street Version ‘04
Honda S2000 ‘06
Honda S2000 LM Race Car
Mugen MUGEN S2000 ‘00
Opera Performance S2000 ‘04
Spoon S2000 ‘00
Spoon S2000 Race Car ‘00

I've finally finished all of the races - Bonus Races 1, 2, and 3 - in the Seasonal Events with all gold. Bonus Race 3 is a walk in the park. The Ford Focus race in Bonus Race 2 took a few attempts, but the 2-lap Nurburgring race with the Nascar was a PIA. I finally cracked it last night with a 6'41" first lap and a cruisy 6'45" second lap.

PSN - iMattel

I own several S2K's which makes up for my lack of one in real life. I also own old Accord's, Civic's, and about 12 Jazz's... :poke:

Currently smashing the B-Spec races to level up my driver. It took me a few days; but I tracked down a Signature Edition of GT5 after abusing many EB Games stores to get one. Currently racing to win a real life SLS AMG. Best rank so far was ranked 13 on Circuit de la Sarthe 2009.

Anyway, I will surely let you all know if I win an AMG :p Add me; just drop me a line in my PSN inbox so I know who you are.

- Mel

P.S. Where do you win the Spoon S2000?

Nice work Mel :) The SE is the one to get. I preordered the CE, only to find out that the "Stealth" cars that I actually wanted were in the normal preorder edition. I've got some "Chrome Line" models which don't really do much for me. Good luck with the SLS comp btw

I don't think you can win either of the Spoon S2000s unfortunately. I just kept a close eye on the used car dealership and managed to find both of them. Here's a list of what cars can be won from GT Planet:

GT5 Prize Cars

I took 4 goes on the nascar seasonal lol, put in a flyer though 6:35.

I couldnt place higher than 2nd with the Rx7 on tsukuba though.

Bought the Formula 1 car as well yesterday oil change gives it 936 BHP. To refresh the engine and the chassis is another 1 mill though!

A 6:35?! Hot damn; you must have been moving.

I couldn't get higher than 2nd in the RX7 race either until I realised I was still on the standard tyres. Whacked on the hard slicks and cruised through.

F1 car will be my next purchase!

Thanks Mike :)

The Stealth cars have come in very handy for a few races. Especially the Mazda 787B.

I check the used dealer after every race now. I really want a Spoon S2000. Until then my Spoon Fit will have to do... :p

I have won most of the B-spec challenges. My friends and I send eachother a car every couple of days to help one another out. There was no way I was buying an MX5 for the Roadster Race, or a Ferrari of Lambo for those one-make races...HAHA!

After using and abusing the Veyron; I just can't believe it's going to cost me 500,000Cr to overhaul my engine - and another 500,000Cr to fix my body rigidy. Does it really make much of a difference?

If any of you are car hoarders like myself; you can get a code for a Chrome Line Jaguar XJ13 off this Facebook App. You need a Facebook account to get it though.

http://apps.facebook...keittothetrack/

You need to play the game 'Shot In The Dark' 4 times, make "grudges" at the end of the game and then click on 'GT5 profile' and 2 PSN codes will appear in the right hand side of the page for you to use :)

Happy racing.

Cirque de la Sarthe is the best.

Let's get these races happening!

There doesn't seem to be much action on this... so let me start it. Who's up for a trial on Wednesday night? Depending on how it goes, we could set up a GT5 virtual racing series.
