How do you get wax off your microfiber towels?

I buy the 7 pack micro-fiber towels from like wal-mart or lowe's. They're like those double-layer stiched ones. Well they work beautifully when I need to wax my car, but I go through like 2 of them each time. If I put them in the washer, the wax doesn't really come off the towels, the dry chunks just stick too well. It'd be impossible to sit there and do it by hand...any ideas?

Yea, I don't use the towels to apply the wax, it's only to remove it but the meguiar wax I use sticks in clumps to the towels like crazy. I've washed the towels numerous times with just detergent and hot water and never had much success. I think the solution you recommended will work beautifully. Thanks!

I do this, I prefer other things like a sponge though.

She's a pretty girl, but those hoots are just to fake.
I just toss the towels, sponges and polishing pads in the washer and machine wash with warm water, then toss them in the dryer on low heat.
