Why a Trial by Written Declaration kicks butt
Brief summary: Back in July I was cited for a failure to stop at a stop sign. It was my first ticket ever, so I was pretty upset.
A month and a half ago I turned in my Trial by Written declaration. I wrote a really bad-ass letter and took pictures of the cop's vantage point in regards to the stop sign he cited me for going through without stopping.
Here are the results:
Mmmmm yeah, that's $230 that California will not be stealing out of my pocket. For now.
