Hi All

A few of you may know us already and I a few have most certainly purchased off us before. I'd like to use this opening post to introduce ourselves - we are Fortyone Automotive - we started out down here in little old NZ selling Honda only products and over the years have expanded our catalog to include many of Japan and the USA's best products.

As time went on, we established a foothold in Japan, from where we ship to customers all over the world. We have customers in weird and wonderful places - Guyana, Dubai, Australia, Ireland, South Korea, Singapore, Tahiti, Brazil!

The benefit of being based here in NZ and selling to the rest of the world is that there's no taxes for us to consider when pricing products, and everyone pays the same for shipping, so part prices stay down.

We specialise in primarily Japanese brands, but where possible we can easily ship from the US also direct to you. If the following brands picque your interest then ask us for prices right away - even if you do not own an S2000 or have friends / family with other car makes and models - we'll quote regardless (i.e. Uras, D-Max, Nismo, TRD, Tom's - anything)!

- ASM
- Amuse
- Mugen
- Spoon
- J's Racing
- M&M Honda
- Feels Honda
- Toda Racing
- Tracey Sports
- Backyard Special
- Taitec
- Seeker
- Esprit
- JUN Auto
- Cusco
- C-West
- Max Racing

Of course, we do all the regular brands like HKS, 5Zigen, Trust, Blitz, Voltex, Varis and so on so ask regardless! For very few brands we adhere to Dealer agreements and this limits sales to certain countries so we will notify you if something isn't possible.

We've met many of the brands in person and we have nearly 10 years experience in shipping worldwide, ordering in and from Japan, and taking care of orders / tracking.

We quote prices to your door and if you are subject to nasty VAT / Customs taxes we alert you to what happens and what to expect and how we can help here also if you are not familiar with the process.

So, that's an intro, I think it's best to take requests and see if we can get you some super deals.

Exchange Rates

We always work with current exchange rates and quotes are good for a week. As exchange rates go up and down, so do prices. So, one week a quote may be one price, the next it may have gone up or down (sometimes by a lot!) so always ask!

How does the process work?

Easy - it's the same as any other part purchase - paypal is fine as is bank to bank. Once paid, we organise shipments to you, pass on tracking where we can and support you with your purchase. Delays are common but we know the process and we can always let you know (holidays, missed shipments, misinformation, leave, lead-times, oversized delays etc)

Yahoo Auctions

We also do Yahoo auctions. You can tell us what you want, and we'll quote you a price, delivered and link you to the auction. Or, you can link us to what you want, and we will quote you the delivered price.

Shipping

We use EMS, SAL, Japan Post, our own containers and TNT. We can use your own shipping services if you have an account and we can drop ship within Japan / USA to your location to be forwarded, or direct to you. It's all easy and we take care of it!

The most beneficial (cost wise) parts to buy are multiple small items, or one / two medium weight items with lots of small items crammed in the same order, or one large item with many other items filling up spaces in the same box. Think something like a Diffuser w/ Oil caps, T-Shirts, radiator hoses and magnetic bolts - or an exhaust + strut bars, heat shields, keyrings and shift knobs kind of thing!

Single cheap items or single heavy items are seldom cost efficient to ship.

What to do next?

PM, Post here or email requests to sales@fortyone.co.nz and we'll do the leg work for you. Our site is set up to show international prices (NZ prices less any taxes you need not pay) but you do need to register and set your country to 'Other'. We will try to do sharper prices in person so always contact us as needed! We'll also try to beat any other delivered price!

Other contact methods:
Aim: FortyoneMac
MSN: fortyone_mac@hotmail.com
Email: sales@fortyone.co.nz

So, begin demanding prices and I'll quote!

Here's some teaser images of some of our visits to Japan. We're the real deal, we're not a business that simply has access to the brands, we've actually met and (gulp!) partied with them!

How about the J's Racing rear diffuser? Is shipping a big hit to Melb?

Do they come up on Yahoo JP auctions often?
