Spoon is one of the hottest brands - along side J's Racing - for performance tuning when it comes to the S2000. Both have their feet planted in endurance racing so the products are well and truly tested in some pretty severe environments. Therefore, I will leave this thread dedicated to all things Spoon!

To Begin With - How about Spoon Brakes:

AU$1499 / US$1499 / set (Monoblock or Twinblock) delivered!

Suits AP1 (Options for EP3, DC5, EK9, CL7, DC2, DB8 if you don't have an AP)

I think 2 years ago we still could have beat that price, new =] But yep it's the swings and round-abouts of the exchange rates that keeps things bouncing up and down! PM'd you back!

Spoon Rigidity Combo - some simple bars to tie up the lower chassis, and provide some support especially if you have lowered your car with uprated springs and stabalizers. These braces will help share the load through the chassis, rather than have the chassis twist.

Spoon Rear Lower Tie Bar

Spoon Drivetrain Tunnel Brace

AU$229 + Shipping (You Choose: EMS $45, SAL $39, Japan Post $29)

What is the difference between the Mono and Twin Block designs?

Mono is single piece, twin is two-piece. Mono is meant to be stronger as there are no joins and therefore they spread load better. The mono was apparently designed for the newer EP / DC / FD chassis's, where as the Twin Block was the original offering. Mono is slightly heavier as it is slightly bigger. Twin block is fine for street / track cars, mono is suited for heavy track work!

Cheers. If I was going for a brake upgrade I would definitely choose the mono.

Twinblock calipers dont fit the S2000, or atleast they werent designed to. The monobloc was released first for the S2000. The monoblock weigh 4.6 kilos lighter than the stockers and the brake modulation is awesome. I wish I got mine from fortyone much cheaper than what I paid (1800 new).
