^^^ and thats just Brisbane.

I believe I heard an interesting fact on TV the other day... QLD had ~1,000,000sq/km of in flood. New Orleans had ~280,000 sq/km of flood when Katrina hit.

interesting fact. though you'd also need to factor in the massive winds that come with hurricanes in comparing the impact.

This was a good picture from a different angle, it just shows the volume of water in Wivenhoe dam.

How close Brisbane was to not being there anymore???
