Good stuff guys - this should be good.

Don't worry AdN, it'll just be for fun. Also re: daylight savings time - do you mean to that you are usually tied up till late at night? I can try and adjust the start time to suit as many folks as possible. 2000 AEST is 2100 AEDT.

Not sure. I'm not that fast, but I'll give it a run later.

I meant that when it starts at 8 for you I'll just be walking in the door from work after an hour of driving. Don't know how keen I'll be to jump into the simulator.

EDIT: Don't worry about adjusting the time for me either, 8pm will suit most people, I'll just see how I feel on the day.

Ok guys, I've created the race event.

1. Go to "Open Lounge"
2. Select Tsukuba as the track.
3. Find the event called, "s2ki Trial Race 1"

Race starts at 2030 AEST, which is about 1 hour and 40 mins.

Hey pboi, where did you go? I couldn't find the original event I created, so I re-created it. I'm not sure what happened, but I configured the event so that it wouldn't boot you off when I left.

Anyway, I hope you're not stuck in some ghost event!

Sorry guys.

How the hell did I miss this? :(

Trying to stay tame with this unhealthy work/Uni life balance at the moment; but I'm happy to break the routine for this.

Please advise of the next one.

Thanks :)

Will do s2o0o :) I'm thinking of making this a regular thing - the first Wednesday of every month, 2000 (8pm) AEST.

Based on the trial race, we'll do three tracks on the night.

1. 2 x track 1 (15 mins practice/qualifying, ~15-20mins of racing, only Honda S2000s - not Amuse/Mugen/Spoon/etc - will count)
2. 2 x track 2 (15 mins practice/qualifying, ~15-20mins of racing, only Honda S2000s - not Amuse/Mugen/Spoon/etc - will count)
3. 1 x track 3 (15 mins practice/qualifying, ~15-20mins of racing, any car you like, but power and weight restrictions will apply)

Approx. 2 hours of racing.

When we get the format right, I'll start awarding points for race finishing order as well as fastest lap order.

Hopefully we'll see a few more racers next time!

Good to hear you'll be back dr.s2k  And don't worry, it's just for fun Besides, you're bound to get faster ;) I cracked up last time when no-one could handle 15 laps of Suzuka. Suzuka has got to be one of my favourite tracks.

I've set up the race. Room name: s2ki Trial Race 2

Also, I've set up boost, so that slower drivers can catch up.

Great racing tonight guys. I particularly enjoyed the Nurburgring race - somehow that and Suzuka always make for good racing. I think I will make Nurburgring the permanent 2nd race!

I'll post up some pics soon.
