Ok.... 2 questions about antifreeze ...... there is the GREEN stuff that's been around for ages .... and then there is the PINK stuff. What's the difference and what goes into our S2000?
Thanks

yeah can you get the Honda coolant ?, it's more of a blue colour. Some aftermarket fluids have silicates which aren't good for the S2K system. My OEM rad was spotless after 9 years on the Honda coolant, I wouldn't use anything else.

Honda type2 blue is the way to go. Anything else cruds up. Especially the pink stuff. That stuff is complete garbage. I've seen it countless times over the years completely destroy cooling systems, radiators, and heater cores.

Is the Nissan L250 coolant suitable? I have quite a few bottles as I had to use it on my Mitsubishi FTO, standard UK coolants would ruin the coolant system. The Nissan stuff was the right Jap spec.

I cannot find a MSDS for the L250 (although I did find some for L248), I would put almost 100% certainty that Nissan has not deviated from the Asian coolant trends of a single organic, silicate free coolant, that Toyota and Honda publically use. You should have no issues running the Nissan coolant.
