Default prevent interior fogging of the windshield

Finally ran the racecar at in the rain at Infineon today and the inside of the windshield completely fogged up in 1 lap and after 2 laps I could hardly see the car in front of me. I made a "rag on a stick" but that didn't help much (not to mention it's rather distracting). Got a wopping 4 laps in. Awesome.

How do people handle this? Anti-fog coatings? Little fans that blow air across the windshield?

there's some anti-fog solution that you can "clean" your wind shield with. Also, i'm assuming you ran with your windows down, right? I've never had problems with fog on the wind shield in the rain while the windows are down. It's when I put them up that I have problems. In any case, your best solution would be to run the defogger (fan only if you still have it - since i'm assuming the AC compressor etc. etc. has been removed) and/or coating the inside of your wind shield with anti-fog (kind of like rain-x, except for the interior and designed for fog).

i think you can make a window heater kit, it's just a metal strips on glass heated.

for snowboarding, we use a product called "cat-crap" on the inside of our goggles whenever it gets too foggy. The only other cure is better ventilation.

The car has no windows (gutted door shells) and no HVAC plumbing at all.
