Aem ems v1 ftw! Lose the cel? Who cares. If your doing this much change to a car u better know how to troubleshoot a problem.

I've been on aem ems v1 for near 3 years, many road trips, etc. It's all in the tune.

both are great but it's very helpful to have a 2 step launch control and boost by gear. AEM has it's advantages and so does Hondata

Its all in the tune but for a daily driven boosted s2k I would definitely like the use of my obdII so i know when and where the problem is wherever i am..
Hondata ftw.

Batman,

What issues are you referring to?

None specifically but if there's something wrong with the motor I would like to know as fast and effortlessly as possible.. My cars camshaft position sensor was unplugged slightly for some odd reason and my car shut off on the highway.. Luckily I used my hondata to diagnose what was wrong and when I pushed the plug in it clipped.. No more CEL.. I love the simplicity and functionality of the hondata while being able to keep the obdII..

I'd rather have the engine do exactly what I tell it to do than have a CEL. With hondata its a crap-shoot if the engine is going to get what you put in the tables.

the stock honda ecu applies many different trims and other things that you cant edit/control with kpro. There are many cases where the values in the fuel and ignition maps dont match the data-logs.
