The Haltech 'Pro' plug-in version will be out shortly. Some of the advanced features of this unit would be knock control, short and long term fuel correction, factory DTC's CEL's are supported, fully functional coolant temp gauge, separate fuel/ignition maps etc. for both low/high/VTEC cam operation, just to name a few.

If it were not for emissions, I would have definitely went with AEM because they seem to listen to us more than Hondata who tells us to go F ourselves and keep everyting a secret like its coldwar intel.

AEM has quite a few advantages over hondata, but it all comes down to your tuner.
it easy to be a "decent" tuner with hondata, it's very simple compared to other options.

For the record, wadzii's posts about Hondata products doing whatever they want are a small exaggeration. There are isolated incidents where the ECU will apply trims that you cannot see because of a locked table, but they are rare and for the most part do not affect the functionality of the product. It does happen, but again this is a rare, often inconsequential, and never a "blew my motor" situation.

Macs suck for business users? Have you ever used one? I have a five month old $2500 Dell Precision M4500 for work that's a piece of crap compared with my three year old early 2008 15" MacBook Pro, not to mention my wife's new 2011 15" MacBook Pro. I'm no Mac fanboy (my house has 4 windows-only computers including one running WHS 2011, 1 Hackintosh running Windows 7 and Lion, and 3 Mac laptops- two of which have Win7 Pro installed), but their laptops are better put together than any Windows PC I've ever laid hands on. I can also run any Windows or Mac program on a single laptop at the same time, including tuning software.
Anyway, I digress. I currently have an old AEM 1012. I love it. Unfortunately, it won't pass emissions and I'll be registering it in PA soon. Early next year, I'll be replacing my AEM with the new KPro. I'll miss real time tuning and boost comp, but it's worth it to pass emissions. I would probably still choose the new AEM boxes over KPro if I didn't have to pass emissions, but it will be nice not to have to worry about that sort of thing with KPro.
