We'll see how it stacks up with MW3. I'm a CoD guy so I may be biased.

MW2 was my favorite all time shooter but I really got tired of hacks, spawn camping, and arcade style after playing Black Ops. It was just the same thing again and again through three straight titles. Needs something fresh. Battlefield is sort of the same, but much different and I am liking the variety a lot more. Not small map kill binges on EVERY game, and more ability to play different styles and do different things. Strategy! Teamwork!
I am glad I went with Battlefield for a change, but still have gripes. Let me leave a lobby and find a different game! And when I send invites to friends and go into a game, do not put us into a game unless we are on the same team. Finding a server with two slots and putting us on separate teams time after time is getting old fast. Trying to get a group of four friends onto the same team is almost impossible. And lastly, mix the teams up a little bit after each round. If you get into one game and get your butts handed to you by another team, the next round will have the same imbalance because it does not do much shuffling, and since you still can't back out until the next game starts it becomes even lamer, only to be followed by finally leaving the lopbby, getting into a new game with friends only to find you are on different teams AGAIN. I can't figure out how EA thinks this is a good working system.
When you are in a game, far more fun, less repetition.
