Default spark plugs

i believe the stock heat range for spark plugs are -11 and ive heard its good to go one step colder to a 10 or 9 heat range. i am coming from boost with 8 heat range plugs and was wondering what you high performance NA guys were using as far as good heat range and what spark plug gap ur running? and help or input os greatly apprecaited! what brand and model numbers seem to be the best for you guys? thsanks all!

Stock range is a 7

I believe the higher you go on the number the colder the plug is, youre are right that 8 is good for boost.

so if stock is a 7 and people suggest one step colder for NA, i can just keep the 8's i have in there? what are most high performance all motor guys using for their plugs ( heat range and gap) i had my boosted olugs gapped down to like .22 or .022 something like that

IMO ...The NGK V-Power BKR7E is a great stock/copper based plug for the NA S.Boosted I would go +1.For older/higher mileage cars that burn some oil I would go -1 range.

The NGK V-Power BKR7E it is!!! they make them in iridium also? i know they may come "pre-gapped" but what is the stock gap supposed to be?

I believe the stock gap is .044 Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

stock gap is 0.044" Thats what the -11 in the ngk part number means

I usually run with a heat range colder than stock. I was getting some detonation with 7 heat range plugs, and the heat was way to far up the ground strap. 8's were perfect.

bkr8e or bkr8eix work really well.
