Looks like the FIA ban on the blown exhaust may be rescinded if the teams unanimously agree to allow it for the season.
Teams Working Group is set to meet tomorrow AM. If the ban is lifted will the teams be able to change the cars prior to the race. I'd think not as the cars are now in parc ferme.

^ All of that should have been sorted out a week ago. The cars are setup using what the rules are now. If they change them again, then the whole balance of the car will need to be reset.

Well for this race, 10% restriction in effect, teams allowed to hot blow. But the FIA has agreed if teams are unanimous, they would lift the diffuser restriction for the rest of the season.

The race was ok. Had moments of excitement and moments of boredom. I for one probably expected way too much from the British Grand Prix.
Hated the Fox coverage as they did not show enough of the post-race coverage. Podium ceremony was rushed and the interview was way too brief. We will have to bear this for one more race before coverage reverts to Speed.

oh! and the ban on off-throttle diffuser will likely be rescinded by the German Grand Prix

RB->Webber: Maintain the gap.
Webber should be pissed. Last year when he had the points lead, they let them race. This year when Vettel is so far out in front that no one will catch him, Webber is forced to concede.
I normally enjoy races that go from wet to dry, just for the strategy of when to go to slicks, but this race was a big let down. Button gets screwed in the pits, Hamilton was running out of fuel, webber told to be Vettel's number 2, and just not an exciting race.

McLaren f'ed up their pit stop for JB
McLaren ran LH too light on fuel
RedBull had some serious pit stop screw ups
Renault looks like they havd died
Ferrari takes the win at last
BUT the biggie is "maintain the gap" RedBull tells MW when he clearly looks like he could pass SV - THOSE ARE TEAM ORDERS, plain and simple
And according to the so called brain trust here only Ferrari commits such terrible violations
So KMA, Ferrari is not the only team that grasps this very important and criticalaspect of this sport

You speak like the end of the race was dull
The reality is the red cars fought hard and did GREAT pit stops and STRATEGY
FA drove hard and played his tires like a true champion
This race was anything but a let down, you could not be more wrong!!!

This race was awesome
Drama right to the end
Bad strategy by major team
Huge pit screw up by major team
Totally dominate team looking very much out of sorts
Medium team suddely looking like a back marker maybe due to rule changes
Major reconfiguration of the track at the historical birthplace of F1 racing
A surprise win for the team that ran in '50 at the 1st F1 race at this track
The race was ok???
No f'ing way, the race was awesome!

The end of the race was definitely not dull. Ferrari could not even pass a handicapped McLaren on the verge of running out of fuel
But glad to see Ferrari back to winning The race had its moments but was largely a snoozefest unless you are tifosi.
It will be interesting to see if Ferrari's form continues through to the rest of the season.
