Took delivery of MY02 September 2002 for 34K including tax. Purchased a hardtop and rack one month later. Currently have 27K miles on my S2000 and it looks like it was just driven out of the showroom. Mechanics comment when raising the hood and notice the car has never been driven in the rain or winter. No dust at all on engine or under body.

I fell in love in Oct '95 when the SSM Concept showed up in AutoWeek
At the time I was driving my '90 CRX-Si and was looking to buy a BMW M-Roadster
I have been active on here for 11+ years
I was planning to buy a new 2001, but the rumors were flying around here about the '02 getting lots of upgrades
I placed my order in Oct '01 for an '02 that had to be delivered in Apr or May
Delivery was 3rd week of Apr '02, Tuesday, and I took Wed as a vacation day
On Thursday morning when I parked the S at work my break-in miles were done, I was up to 750 miles
I'll post pics tomorrow when I'm not on the phone.
I ordered my S with 2 options, the hardtop and the black chrome package
This is my 10th year with the car, I'm at 65k, and it's important to know it was my track car for 7 years
I still have my CRX-Si and just like Rex I have zero intention of ever getting rid of My Spa

I looked this morning, my final purchase price was $34,784, and that included the hardtop and the black chrome package

My sold sticker going onto the car was one of the 1st things that happened to it when it was off-loaded at my dealer's lot.


My salesman called me when the truck pulled into the lot and I left work to go see it right away


An hour after it was mine, I took delivery with the HT on, all dealer installed, and covered under the full car warranty because of that.


The following morning, my 1st whole day with the car, after I got the HT off I installed the front chin spoiler, put the countersunk Voodoo knob on and installed my glove box organizer.


My 1st big mod, done in 2002, custom rollbar built to my specs and design, still one of the best designs done, major height but HT and ST both go over it, full OEM interior preserved, no bar in rear view mirror, and boy oh boy, did it stiffen up the car.

When the economy crashed in 2009, I needed a new daily driver and my wife said go ahead and get that CR, it's the last opportunity to buy a new one.

2008 CR purchased new in April 2009 with 31 on the odo for $27,500. Yup, I paid less for my new CR than my used AP1 back in the day. Currently with 15k miles on it.

I purchased it from Montclair Honda in California but lived in Las Vegas at the time. I was set to purchase one from my local dealer, I was just waiting for stock to come it. We had agreed to MSRP, but when the shipment came and after the test drive, the sales manager decided to sell to another customer for 5k over MSRP. I was angry after that incident, so that same day I emailed dealers in SoCal and AZ and purchased mine the next day and drove it home.

This has been the best car that I have ever owned.
