$30 for most tires. Run flats or any crazy low profile or huge rim is $40.

When you go, ask for john artinger and tell him barry sent you. he'll take care of you.

That's any wheel, not just stock rims. So your volks, ccws, blitzs, kinesis, ssr's, etc

Thanks john. they're a pretty new shop. He used to work at benz, but decided to open up his own shop recently. Just trying to help him out as well as tell nj about a good trustworthy place to get tires done.

THANK YOU BARRY. I have been looking for a shop to mount tires for the longest time. I brought my Volk RE30s to get its tires unmounted few weeks ago at a local shop and scratched the wheels all up, i was furious!

yea a lot of people in metro have been. most shops just dont give a shit and have old machines and use pry bars on the rims. you can do a good job with the old machines, you just have to take your time. my friend who used to work at a shop would do my tires on a old school machine. he just took his time and wrapped the pry bar in a towel and never scratched my rims.

then i hear about people paying $40/wheel at a performance shop, which is insane. here you are getting the same machine and care for $15 less per rim.

+1 Bob Zecca at Driving Impressions is a good guy! His shop did my harness install, and he showed me around his shop and was very excited about his new tire machine, haha

Hey Barry, how much do they charge to remove and mount new tires from one set of wheels to another set of wheels with old tires?

i'm really not sure how much to remove a tire, but i cant imagine more then $5-$10 per tire. it's so easy to do. give them a call, ask for john artinger and tell him barry kraut sent you. he will give you a price. he knows about the s2k pricing. i was texting him last week because i have to get 2 tires mounted. he owns the shop.

i have no idea what bill charges, but we are talking 3hrs difference in terms of location here. this is in northern nj and bill is in eastern li. the price wouldnt be that much different to warrant the tolls and travel.

True^ but then again I gotta go to him anyway for my clutch and once over.

BUT! I would have to bring an extra car with me to transport wheels and tires... I might as well go to lyndhurst.

I am still curious to see what bill charges. What if it was 10 bucks a wheel. It would would be totally worth it.
