You'll be sitting high but i dont think you should rub. What color did you get?

nonsensical - centering rings reduce wheel vibrations by aligning the center of the wheel to the center of the hub.

It's a simple matter of gravity there is a small amount of play in the mounting of wheels on the studs that will pull them down - that small distance down from center will rotate around and cause an imbalance.
