Nice pics, Zomg. One thing I've noticed about wedding shots from day one is all seem to be posed/staged. I realize people want perfect photos. I do wonder if photographers ever sneak off to a corner, with their zoom lens to capture some non staged moments?

There are posed shots (the majority of which I posted) but happiness is the natural emotion of everyone there. For example, for the pictures of the couple (#1-4) were natural emotion, but they knew they were being photographed. I guess since the couple know they're being photographed all the time, be it by guests or the hired photogs, they just act like the cameras aren't there. Though this was my first time, so I have no idea the tactics of others
These were candid, actually:
The main photog was below and I was caught shooting from above:

But the candid-ness came easiest for me during the reception:

Happiness is a natural (and great) emotion, but for some, as soon as the camera comes out, some of the natural emotion goes away. I know some people who totally stiffen up as soon as the camera comes out. I remember being a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding. Her mother looked AWFUL in every pic. She is one of those people.
on the candid shots.

When he first walked up to the car he was talking like he may have to because of my exhaust..., then he almost ate the steering wheel when he pulled it in and hit the brakes... I think what "helped" the inspection was that I brought my race jack from home so he could check the front end... After that it was all car talk... didn't check anything else... Easy inspection but a tense first few minutes!
