Ultra High Performance Brembo Gran Turismo Brake System packages were developed to offer race-inspired braking components that are endowed with several significant advantages over a vehicle’s original braking system to provide superior braking time after time. They are for drivers who want to make a statement by substantially improving the looks and performance of their vehicle’s braking system.

Brembo Gran Turismo Systems provide excellent stopping power in everyday traffic, as well as superior high performance street and track driving. They are designed to bolt onto the vehicle’s original suspension and are fully compatible with the vehicle’s stock brake master cylinder and anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Gran Turismo Brake Systems packages combine high performance fixed aluminum brake calipers, large diameter 2-piece vented brake rotors, brake pads, stainless steel braided brake lines and aircraft quality mounting brackets and hardware. Brake caliper and rotor sizes are selected based on the vehicle’s requirements. Additionally, the rotors feature drilled or slotted disc surfaces depending on the vehicle application and brake system selected. All cross-drilled holes are bi-angle chamfered at the rotor’s outer surfaces to help reduce the cracking caused by repeated, high stress, high temperature brake applications. Gran Turismo brake discs are coated for corrosion resistance to help eliminate rust and to offer a bold, aggressive appearance to enhance the look of the vehicle’s road wheels.

AP Racing - Front 4-Piston Big Brake Kit for S2000 - Available in Black or Red

For a big upgrade at an affordable price, Brake Pros offers world renown AP Racing 4-piston calipers running on 1-piece and/or 2-piece rotors. Each kit is designed to work with the original equipment master cylinder, ABS and traction control systems. Specially-designed rotors are cross-drilled and slotted, the optimum for high-performance street, autocross and occasional track day use. The curved vane construction provides for maximum cooling when pushing hard. 2-piece kits come with aluminum alloy hats for better thermal management and maximum weight reduction.

DOT-compliant and TÜV-approved stainless steel lines are included to top off the upgrade and provide a huge improvement in pedal feel and stiffness. Brackets and hardware are made from aerospace-grade materials and high-strength fasteners. All AP Racing kits are complete with no other parts required. Install, bleed and go!

Spoon - S2000 Caliper Set

The Spoon 4-pot caliper has been specifically designed and tested for Honda applications. Unlike other 4-pot calipers, Spoon calipers are direct fit and are designed to work with the stock brake system, including the ABS. Spoon calipers use stock Honda size brake pads, which gives users a large variety of options when it comes to choosing pads. The 4-pot calipers significantly improve both braking and pedal feel and is resistant to fade during track use. The 4-pot design also makes pad wear more even and minimizes rotor warpage. The Aluminum construction also helps reduce unsprung weight. These benefits are achieved while maintaining the usability for a daily driver. Spoon calipers are manufactured by Nissin, the OE supplier of all Honda brakes. For the S2000, Spoon designed the mono-block caliper, whose one piece construction improved rigidity.
