Interested in that Amsoil 0W-30 oil. Could I run that oil, and get up to 30k miles between oil changes.. without the bypass filter?!

Nope. The only things I have changed on this car are fluids, filters, brake pads, spark plugs, serpentine belt, the windshield and the battery. My rear bumper was kissed last year, so the rear bumper beam was also replaced, and the bumper repainted. You'd never tell it wasn't original.

IMO you could run that long if you did a lot of highway miles, since the TBN would hold up. The bypass filter removes the larger wear particles, so wear in minimized. If you chose to do this, I highly recommend that you get a used oil analysis (UOA) to make sure you're not doing any damage. If you look at my UOA in my link above, you'll see that I gradually worked my way up to a 39,500 mile OCI.

I'm at 146k and about to put in the third clutch. The difference being I drive my car the way it was made to drive.

Im at 190K so I will be posting up at 200,000 miles soon! Original clutch as well. I even bought some celebratory cigars when it rolls over to that mileage.

Will the cluster in these cars roll back to 0 after 300k?
