So anyone who is into model cars prob knows that Hot Wheels finally came out with an s2k. Could be better, could be worse. It does come with a hard top and a wing so I figured I'd see what I could do to mod some CRs.

Not perfect, but I think they came out pretty good. Sorry about the pics being a bit blurry, not the best camera...
Mods:
rivets drilled to disassemble body, interior, wheels, etc.
body painted authentic apex blue pearl, black top, and clear coated
rear CR emblem
text on windshield banner deleted
yellow seats
yellow shift knob
yellow and red tachometer on dash
exhaust painted silver
CR-like gray 5 spoke wheels

Also made a GPW of my car with Volk Le37's

With some very carefull clay work, I was also able to keep the headlights and tails even with a color change. Most people that paint models just paint over everything. I've yet to do a Berlina, but I plan on making more especially during some down time this winter. If anyone is interested in having one made just let me know, I have a wide selection of wheels and all paint colors.

Thanks for all the comments, guys. :D I'll post up when I have a few extra made up. I can customize any visual mods to match your car like wheels, emblems, exhaust, interior, etc. Feel free to PM for price. I put several hours into each of them + donor cars, wheels and paint, but it's a hobby that I really enjoy when I have the time. Thanks,

R

Nice, I actually have about 10 of these...in which ill be doing the same.

Did you paint the rims or swap them? I know they are different color but they look like a single 5 spoke, not the double like from hotwheels

No, I swap to different wheels, no paint. If you look close on the gpw model it has 6 spoke wheels that look exactly like te/le 37s. These te-like wheels are avail in almost any color from bright blue to white, which I think is pretty cool. There are a lot of different wheel types though, I can usually find something close to a real wheel, even all the oem s2k versions.

I dont have any sebring paint, it prob wouldn't be cost effective to buy yet unless more people wanted sebring. If you want me to modd a stock silver one with wheels, black top, or other details, I can def do that. Thanks again guys for all the replies, I will get one to everyone that wants one eventually, it might just take a little while...
