I was just wondering whether someone can confirm if this is the right part before I order? My striker plates on the windscreen frame are pretty worn and as a result the hardtop I have bought recently rattles even after adjustment.

Please can someone confirm whether part number 11 in the link below is the correct part? I'm just after the striker plate on the windscreen frame that will be suitable for both a hard top and the soft top.

TIA :)

According to the bible that is the Urban Dictionary!
FLOPPY
"When one cannot get hard when a girl is trying to give said man a blowjob.
When Taylor got on her knees, she noticed Ben was still floppy."
SPIKEY
"Like the term horny, when you feel the urge to have sex really badly. Spikey is derived from the sharp pointy horns of a devil.
I started kissing my girlfriend Michelle all over her body and we both got extremely spikey."
I don't like change, I'm still calling you Spykee or Spike for short :)

CFL Honda provide great service and prices in my experience but their website is "challenging".

The best thing I found to do was use HondaPartsNow website to find the part numbers and then search using these numbers on CFL Honda's website.

Another problem with CFL is that your order doesn't show the part number and the descriptions can sometimes be misleading as well as vague. When I ordered I specifically requested they checked one item - they did and all was fine.

D.

PS If anyone wants the hardtop fitting kit numbers - I can advise

Spot on.

Have you tried your local dealer Floppy, I asked Rowes Honda, Plymouth, £36 for HT strikers, 2 day turnaround for them to arrive if not in stock...

Thread resurrection!

I never got around to buying new strikers and since removing the hard top after the winter I now get loads of wind noise from the soft top as well! When I pull the handle at the front down towards the mirror the wind noise disappears. Does that mean I just need new strikers or do I need the shims as well? My strikers are seriously worn now to the point where there feels like there is almost no grip when closing the hard top or soft top latches!

Have you tried swapping the strikers around, driver-side to passenger-side and vice versa, could be a temp fix until you sort some new strikers out...
