Hi all,

We would to make this very clear right from the outset.. we cannot promise to help every S2KUK and and S2KI member, we have some criteria to be met and also some exclusions. If we cannot help you, we can only apologise. For the majority however, we should be competitive and be able to provide an excellent level of cover.

Well, unfortunately they can't come anywhere near my Adrian Flux quote but it was worth a call...

Sometimes its not about the price though.

We had to make a claim through Sky following an accident with our Skyline. Sky's communication and promptness throughout the claims procedure was spot on, the price settled upon for the car was pretty much exactly what we were wanting for it and we also got to buy the car back.

We probably could have shopped around recently when our renewal was up but the quote we received from sky was less than we were expecting given the supercharger and other bits installed so we stayed with them

Thanks for the feedback, it is good to hear we are already helping members. We'd love to be able to promise to help everyone but we cannot be competitive for all unfortunaately.

Please remember that I can be contacted by PM if anyone has any queries.

Just renewed with SKY offered me a better deal than Flux, Spoke to Luke, Good service would recommend when your insurance is up for renewal.

This is great to hear, we (like all insurers) get a bit of stick for rising renewal prices so it is good to hear we have been competitive on this one.

As ever, if you have any queries please PM or email us at any time.

Thanks

I am 23 in December and have had my car for 3 years now. Soon to be coming up to 3 years no claims also. I do however have an IN10 on my license. I have tried to get insured with you in the past but for some reason you wont insure until I am 25? Is this still the case?

Hi,

we'll look at each case on it's own merit but our general rule of thumb is to be aged 25 or over. We have insured a 23 year old recently only a S2000 but this was on a TPFT basis which will not be ideal for everyone.

I feel we may struggle again this year to help you unfortunately.

Hi,

unfortunately 'M' Manchester is excluded from our car club scheme, whilst we can quote in the area it is hard to say whether we will be competitive.

Thanks

Hi all,

Well I just insured my car through Sky (specifically Alex) & I must admit I'm not usually the person to publicly give praise for these kinds of things -

However,

Alex was very helpful, I got a great price & so far so good.

Out of all the other usual companies I tried Adrian Flux, Chris Knott (who wouldn't insure me as under 30?), all the comparison sites (be careful of combined excesses) & pretty much most other people I could think of, Sky were the best - plus the fact they advertise directly on the forum, I couldn't find any horror stories & obviously knew the car - I went for it.

So day 1 of Sky insurance starts this Sunday.

Cheers Alex & indeed Sky.

Brent

Hi Guys,

We very nearly went with you as you matched our best quote from elsewhere, and would have prefered to as you are a specialist insurer, however spent over 40 minutes on 2 occasions trying to get through to someone to take out the policy.

Gave up in the end and stuck with admiral.

Will give you a try next year!
