Do we have any feedback on the real world difference these make yet?

I'm still curious to hear if they have any noticeable effect.

I had them fitted but with coilovers at the same time, so I can't tell! But really happy with the car, it changes direction so much better now!

Sorry I can't be of more help

Dixon, do you have the subframe collars and diff collars in stock?
Also wondering, in one of the photos, I see the hardrace rear toe arms, on the ends are rubber dust boots. Do you know what size these are or do you have any in stock? I need two.

Thanks

Hmm -the friction between the subframe and shell is going to be more than enough to stop any movement.

If it did move then it would be polished metal.

Diff mounts make sense though

Then next time when you get a chance to take the subframe out, check the movement mark on the chassis and subframe, you will be surprise how much they move.

To fit inc geo will be £180 plus vat. Both front and rear subframe need to come down abit and it takes a good few hours to fit all the collars.

We just took a front subframe out of a S2000 today for Seam Welding and just to show you how much the subframe bolts moves around and how the subframe is not sitting in the middle - You can clearly see the mark where the bolts move around.

With the subframe collar, it will bring the subframe to sit right in the middle and that will give a balance camber and caster value once it sitting in the correct place with the correct Geometry setup.

just guessing that only a car being race prepped would require seem welding the sub frame!

Think I mentioned it before but the subframes do move, especially if like mine it probably wasn't torqued correctly at time of assembly.

just to let people know the SPOON transmition brace isnt cheaper as they add VAT/POSTAGE/IMPORT TAX on top.

just got my sumframe collar kit/transmition brace :).i hope they work as good as they look and they weigh nothing
you can hardly feel a collar in your hand and the brace isnt much different.
Took my dog to the vet to get neutered, they call it the AP2 conversion, looks the same but the balls are gone.

Hi,

I need a full geo setup and corner weighting on my 2002 s2k and sounds like these collars would be a good idea at the same time

I've stripped and greased all the camber/caster/toe adjustment bolts on the front and rear and have just fitted bilstein B14's and mugen compliance bushes whilst its been in bits!

What's the ballpark cost for this and how far in advance do I need to book? Do you operate at weekend or just week days? (bearing in mind the car is unlikely to be back on the road till early June as I'm rebuilding the engine at the moment!) I'm off to the ring the last weekend in June so need it done before then

cheers
Robert
In process of engine rebuild and uprating the supercharger boost .... Rotrex Supercharger 18psi, AEM EMS v2, oil, intake, exhaust temp sensors, 1000cc injectors, AEM UEGO, AEM Meth Kit, omni 4 bar, DS2500, Competition Clutch ST2, Spoon release bearing, Wossner 9:1 forged +1mm pistons, cosworth 0.38mm head gasket, spoon compliance bushes, 50mm Core aluminum racing radiator , spoon thermostat, oil cooler, Eagle F1's, coilovers still to be chosen but probably Bilstein B14, geo set up

Hi Rob

To do corner weight we will need half a day to do that and corner weight with geo set up will be £300 plus VAT.

Fitting subframe collar is £75 plus VAT. would be easier if you can come weekday as we are always too busy during the weekend.

Thanks Dixon, I assume that's +£120 for the collars themselves?

How much just for the collars and geo and a check of the corner weights as I may have a go at corner weighting myself!
