Just a quick line on my build thread,so I am changing thisPosted Imageto this
Posted ImageAs I have an 09 car my engine is just waiting to go bang,So the engine in the picture is the one going into my car.It is being rebuilt as we speak,Its Kings performances race engine, with spec as long as your arm,I beleive It runs 9 second 1/4 mile times. It is rated at safe for 1000 rwhp(I wont be running anywhere near that. The Turbo and fuel system is good for 800whp
In order to get grubby, look the part and be able to lie on the floor(the older I get the more I seem to do this ;) I need to be dressed like thisPosted Image
Once my toys start to arrive I will start a proper build thread.
In order to make it fast you also need to make it stop so I've fitted thesePosted Image
360 mm 6pot fronts,320mm twin pot rears.
Plus I also needed to make it handle, something like so it's got various Cusco braces/ARBs,polibushed,and tein flex with Edfc(which is great)
Please bear in mind this is a light hearted thread and in no way is it intended to be me "showing off",If I get any indication that is what people think I will stop posting.
I am self taught with spanners(so dont ask anything technical)I will and have done all the work on my car in a small single car garage. If there is any help or info I can pass on please ask.The car is not intended for any kind of track use,so I cant really justify what I am doing, but then I couldnt justify putting a turbo an a Hayabusa either.

Fair enough.

My megalomania means any more would be dangerous, probably.

Are you going for more everywhere, or is it top end you're after?

Hi Nick, more everywhere, preferably in the mid range.Untill I know how the final setup feels I won't know how it's going to be mapped. A nice progressive increase in power makes for a lazy car to drive but also once it rolls it's sleeves up it should haul ass.

Staggering how the car can stay on the road with such massive boosts of power... it will be in "funny car" power. Is it generally something you are drag racing, or for the road? (if its the latter.... then what a waste of money! But enjoy the speed!)

At the end of the day, its just a car shell with a rocket ship engine. Make sure its driveable, I believe from what i've read many turbo charged S2k's have an even nastier temper.

500-600whp will be difficult to stop fast tyre wear, even with a subtle geo setup. I'm assuming the camber will be aggressive to keep the back in check.
Even though I shudder at anyone fiddling with an already magnificent car, I like to see how build threads go, and find them thoroughly interesting. Keep us posted with pics

Slightly off topic but out of all the bikes I've had which include Busa R1s tuono racing, the most violent explosive bike was a Ktm 640 supermoto, tuned by Craig Taylor,70 bhp 135 kgs the throttle was like a switch. It would top out at 110mph but nothing passed it on corners.
Power demands respect, lots of power demands lots of respect.it should be fun.

I was thinking r888,with the greatest respect Razzele seems to be a bit of a nutter,I'll see what he thinks, but keep it coming anyway,I am all ears.
