Thats why I use a factory replacement rotor (not an aftermarket replacement) And - remember how I always "roll" my car several times after each session? Still Never cracked a rotor...
Im still planning on doing some ducting soon.

i do use the cheap ones, but for $38 a piece shipped it's hard to beat. i took the dust shields off today, finally, so hopefully that will help, and i am going with ducting over the offseason sometime as well.

was a great time though. a seat change and i go nearly 2 seconds faster than the NASA event, wish i knew what i could have done on the faster tires

^What will you attach the ducts to now that the dust shields are gone? Just tie it off near the hub pointed at the rotor? One of my winter project too.

thats the plan right now. might try to make a bracket that bolts into a couple of the holes where the dust shields screwed into, but doubt i'll put that much time into it

Taking the dust shields will just about fix the problem itself.
And a few changes, and I know you'll be even faster...(lower the car and try to get -3% camber F&R)

Thats the same thing Im planning on doing, get a fitting to put on the end of the tube and see it I can drill a couple holes to line up with the factory bracket holes.

Here's some video from my second session. My lap times improved considerably after Brian drove my car and showed me how it's done.
