Treat this trip like a track day.

  • Check fluids
  • Check brakes
  • Make sure your battery is decent!! :banghead: <-- me aka s2kattracks, last time lol
  • Check tires
  • Check belts
  • Eensure all components in engine bay are secure e.g. battery tray, fluid reservoirs etc.
  • Remove unnecessary junk from driving area, stuff will fly around!

Do your best to ensure your car is ready, you don't want to be the one that holds up the group.

If you show up with bald tires and have a flat during the trip we may just leave you behind.

If your car isn't ready don't come.

Don't get hammered the night before, these roads are dangerous at normal driving speeds. You will need to be on your toes for this event.

  • Be smart and don't drive beyond your limits.
  • Don't cross the double yellow. Seriously!!
  • Look through the corners, your car will follow your eyes.
  • If the lead car goes down a dirt road don't follow!
  • If you room with drew bring soap on a rope.

Hotel Info

We are staying at the Ridgetop Motel, in Bryson City, NC - (The town where we ate dinner last time)

  • Website is Here and their number is 828-488-6335.

  • r00ster has booked 5 double rooms for Sat night Nov 12. @ $44.99 per room. So, it will be $22.5 each + tax I'm sure.

  • There is a 48hr cancellation policy. So, If you have to drop out, please let us know so things can be corrected.

  • This is kinda big place and usually has an extra room if we need it. So, if you have buddies coming and they need a room, let me know!

Thankfully, we didn't have any of this, lets hope the second time is just as nice to us!!

If you are on the "on the fence" list, let me know so I can move to the "going" or "not going" list!

Besides the slow service last time, the buffalo burger was good, anyone want to go back to that place??

I am sure most of you guys know this kinda stuff but just in case We probly need to add a disclaimer with the following

Treat this trip like a track day.
Check fluids
check brakes
check tires
check belts
ensure all components in engine bay are secure e.g. battery tray, fluid reservoirs etc.
remove unnecessary junk from driving area, stuff will fly around.

Be smart and don't drive beyond your limits. Don't cross the double yellow. Look through the corners, your car will follow your eyes. If the lead car goes down a dirt road don't follow. If you room with drew bring soap on a rope.

What else? I am sure I am forgetting something.

Matt-

Can we start a list of people that need roommates for the hotel? Unless my buddy comes I am fairly certain it will be just me.

I will be down depending on my schedule. I also may have some other cars tagging along (C5 Vette, Mini S, WRX, Plymouth Prowler) depending on their schedule. Mine and some buddy's parents live around an hour from the Dragon so I'd probably stay with them.

Anyone have a camera mount? I have a 1080p HDMI camcorder I wanted to mount but I've never put it in the car. If not I'll try to locate a windshield mount.
