been looking at wheels to go over the brembo's but it's proving difficult.....

even RPF1's with there spoke design are a no go but threw them on to see how they looked first before selling

Prodrive wheels which Stu C is selling would probably clear them (they clear the S2000 Brembo kit)

Not sure they are that much better than the OEM caliper though, Loon? Having to buy specific wheels would put me off, and a set of Dixcels gives more braking performance than road tyres can handle...

hi and welcome

car looks really nice, but gutted the bronze CE28's wont fit over the brakes,

are you having custom calliper mounting brackets made or do they bolt straight on? what other issues are you having with them as its a conversion i would like to do.

I agree Mark. But I'm still curious to see if anyone can make the DC5 Brembo set up a workable upgrade or swap for S2k. IIRC kitkat came close but he had to get custom discs or caliper brakets made up so he only ran the set up for a short period on his car.

They won't clear them after seeing the sizes!

The ce28s can be made fit but I have alloy all round the place and test fitted these...

I'm not a fan anyway.

Also having done a similar brake upgrade on my Accord Type R I can vouch that they make the difference

Different car and different calipers though. Definitely hats off for doing the conversion, but it would take a lot to convince me that anything is better than Dixcel discs and pads (which lock up road tyres) I guess you might save a bit of weight, and they look nicer :)

Well my Almera on standard brakes lock up the tyres on it....

But I have spoon calipers there that fit, but there's no individuality in that.... This is something that works well and looks good :)

Cheers for all the comments peeps !

@carlip.... Pm me for my email address if it's easier :)

iPhone and photobucket App are handy to not use :)

2 of them running on the accord, 2 in the shed.... I think they're a great tyre!!!

May or may not be of help but to fit Brembo DC5 calipers to an EP3 you use S2000 discs as the offset is 7.5mm further outwards and this places the disc central in the caliper.

I'd hazard a guess at trying a set of EP3 discs on there.

Does an et48 clear the brembo caliper? I thought you'd need something more aggressive?

Are you not going for a staggered setup?

Just to be f@#king crystal... you're messing about with wheel offsets to fit over brakes which you fitted to sort a problem which didn't exist in the first place. Or have I lost the plot?
