As far as i can see it, he's fitted better callipers than OEM and had difficulty fitting his alloy wheels to go over them, but he has now found alloys that clear them - what's wrong with that?

Got the new alloys back during the week from being bead blasted, it's all about the prep :)

went about tidying them, the few kerbs marks etc, then hit them with 3-4 coats of primer and the 2 coats of the intended finished colour

they're now sitting overnight ready for to be finished off tomorrow

there are a few pics, but unfortunately my 7 year old phone's infrared doesn't appeal to my laptop

Camber the wheels in? I don't like the sound of that.

I can guess he means because you're ruining the handling if you add too much camber...

Surely the degree of camber required will have a very negative effect on the handling?

There are some quite nice arch extensions / wider wings that would cover the wheels and be a better solution.

i can't see it affecting handling as much as everyone thinks, and it's only a weekend cruiser anyway..

i though of newer arches but they cost too much for what they are.... in that pic the weight of the car is still on axle stands also  it makes it look worse

Aside:

i also plan to look for a lesser aggressive front pair of wheels

I actually don't think there would be sufficient adjustment on the standard arms without fitting an offset bush assembly.

i'm trying to find out about the spc... whether they are 1.5 or 3 or adjustable between +1.5 and -1.5

i think the fronts might need them but rears when rolled could be ok with the OEM aadjustment
