Not sure what the best method is for wheels with one valve stem, but 949 wheels have two 180 degrees apart. So, you could push Nitrogen in one and purge out the other. This would give the best chance of high Nitrogen content.

I am a STR n00b trying to learn more daily. So bear with me...

Josh - I know you run 17x9 6ULR and so do others, why is the 17x10 +72 with 275's not popular? Is there a fitment issue on these on the fronts or rears? I figure there is good reason - like pulling fenders or removing fender liners etc - just curious. I would think it would also clear all brake kits too...Thanks!

STR rules dictate 9" wheel width max and 255 tire width max.

I'm thinking about trying the Federal RS-R 595s when I buy STR wheels. We have a local here in MN who's doing well running them on his 2011 STI. The RS-3s are just no good in MN because it's too cold at most of our events to ever get heat into them, and when it's cold AND raining they're just about useless. Can't argue with the price either, especially compared to a set of Star Specs.

Forgot my other question, at stock ride height do the fender tabs still have to be rolled to clear a set of 255s?

let us know how those do!

Better to be safe than sorry with the fender tabs. Stock suspension would likely roll enough to rub the tabs but I have never tried it. Ubber stiff FSB might keep you off them but it's cheaper to roll the tabs than replace 2 cut tires.. .
06' SS AP2 - KW clubsport 750/650# rates, 17x9s & 255/255 RS3 kooks, FSB = SFR Gendron 1.25"/.25" hollow, Gendron 1"/0.12 wall RSB, Hardrace front camber kit. Camber -2.9/-2.6 not slammed 13.1/13.4 hbore to fender.

hmm, thwarted by TSW inventory. I really want the Nurburgring wheels in 17x9 in bronze, but they don't seem to be available. =/

I called Discount Tire Direct and they ordered them for me even though they didn't have any, it took a couple weeks but not bad.

TSW has their inventory online. I think distributors (including discount tire) just order directly from TSW based on this inventory.

Currently only showing 1 bronze.

Anyone fit BBK with the TSW's? I know ULR works, TRC3 does not!

Do you mean allow a BBK or work on the car for STR. I think a few run it in STR, its a great wheel choice!
