Brisbane S2000 Xmas Cruise 2011
Sunday December 11

Posted Image

G'day all

Well, one last cruise for the year for Christmas. We might also try our luck again with the Big Kart Track - hopefully it isn't rained out this time!

Cruise details:
Meet point 1 ................. Milton BP (click for Google Map)
Meet time ..................... 0900
Departure ..................... 0930 SHARP

Destination 1 ................ The Big Kart Track (participation is Optional, but encouraged!)
Arrival time ................... ~1130
Lunch Destination ....... TBD (~1230-1300)
Route ........................... Emailed. PM me for the route.

As always, friends in other cars are welcome as long as they don't play up and try to stay at the back of the pack to avoid spoiling any group photos or videos.

Participation in the karting is optional, but encouraged. It can be a lot of fun with friendly competition. So, bring your hat and suncream, helmet and gloves!

Looking forward to catching up again with everyone before the end of the year.

Mike

The drive should also probably be for acknowledgement of the change of ownership of S2ki
plus of course a drive in the spirit of Xmas

^ No probs, I'll see what I can do, but the 11th so far is looking like the most popular date.

^ Good stuff.

Would any others object to the 18th? Especially those who have already chosen the 11th?

18th is just too close to xmas for my liking, could make it harder for some.

Well, it looks like the 18th and the 11th could be a close call. Once I send out an email to the non-s2ki folks, I should have a better idea about which date is more suitable.

So this time of year is a bit contentious at the best of times.. but the 11th or the 18th should be right.

I think it's worth considering the extra holiday traffic that's likely to be puttering around on the 18th - given how many people take off the week before Christmas, and how likely they are to be sunday-drivin up the coast then.

Good point Marcon. I think it is looking more like the 11th.

Btw, have you got your GoPro replacement yet? :)

Lol Mike still have that ContourHD. I think I'll drag my Nex5N out for a bit of a test as well.

Will be quite happy to get another GoPro once I find someone who'll fit a distress beacon to it hahahaha

Lol, I think if you lose the next one down the side of the mountain you'll need to hook up an EPIRB!
