so i have been noticing that i have coolant leak buildup under the engine block after i leave a parking spot. i have been checking my radiator fluid and reservoir and its not low at all (hot or cold) but im noticing random pools of radiator fluid?

Could this be water pump? I checked the radiator hoses closest to the radiator both top and bottom they were both fine.

My temp on my odometer never goes higher than midline.

Anyone can chime in on this?

I have a lowered car so its hard to see from underneath and havent had the time to jack the car up since i moved to a new apartment compound recently.

if you can access a pressure tester it will make the search much easier. only other thing to do is inspect the car after a good drive to try and pinpoint it. only so many places it can come from. is the puddle in a particular spot?

yes its only in one spot front mid to to driver side of the car almost right under the belts. After a good drive and i park it pools but its sporadic. Sometimes it doesnt sometimes it does but im sure its coolant and not h20.

ok pressure tester is that something i can borrow from autozone?>

did you overfill your coolant reservoir by any chance?

if its not overflowing from the reservoir, its not a good sign. Check everything again, I'd suggest looking at both the heater hose lines and the line headed towards the throttle body. The heater hose lines are the two lines headed into the passenger side of the car. It should go right through the firewall into the heater core. The throttle body lines are show up on the driver side of the intake manifold/throttle body. There's a mess of hoses there, some vacuum and some coolant.

Here's the "weep" hole in the bottom of the water pump. Use a mirror and check it for a leak.

If you arent 100% its even coolant I would get an drip pan and place it under there for a night, pull it out and youll see everything that it leaks. You can get a drip pan from like autozone for some where around 20 bucks.

I did that once with my truck (s10 extreme)- I had a cracked coolant hose so I put a drip pan under the truck to catch the coolant and try not to kill all the animals and someone stole it from under the truck in the matter of a few hours

I did it with my integra when I had coolant leaks, and found out I was leaking oil in 2 different spots too lol
