Your gases at idle shouldn't been bad, it just comes down to if there is a port to get the codes from.

Wow I'm in the same boat. Looking to buy a turbo s2k out of state that has AEM EMS.

I moved to NC recently from Florida. I still have my FL driver license and my moms address. Since FL has no emissions, how bad would it be to register the car down there even though I'm living in NC? Would insurance issues arise, or the fact that the vehicle will be financed?

Hey guys I recently got a ticket for my drivers license address and car registration address not matching. (State Trooper) I also tried to go through emissions with a test pipe last year, and was called out on it......and I have no check engine light. The biggest problem is after you get caught not having a cat, you have to show proof that you bought a NEW cat before they will clear you.....its a pain in the butt! So be careful.

I would've lost my mind. I had some 22 year old chick do mine. I basically walked her through the whole S2000 because she had no idea WTF she was doing....it was mildly amusing.....

FTMFL. :thumbdn: I usually have to tell them at least three times that my port is on the passenger side. They seem to think I don't know what I'm talking about with my own car or something.
