Default xAgyex's 00 S2K Thread

I've been wanting to do this for a few months. So here's the trip to my AP1. I bought my AP1 S2000 from Eddie A. in NJ on July 12th, 2011 with 66K on the odometer.
I had to take Cape Maye Ferry to go pick her up. It was a 3 hour drive from my home to the Ferry, a 2 hour Ferry ride, and 10 min drive from the Ferry to the old owners place. Ended up being a 2 day affair because the bank was closed by the time the old owner and I got through chatting. Mind you I left Baltimore at 8:30am, and we got to the bank at 5:30pm. After I picked her up I drove to NYC, which was a 3, almost 4 hour drive. BEST DRIVE OF MY LIFE. This is now my DD and I even intend to drive it this winter. Now the pics:

Before I get to the pics of my AP1, here are some pics of my previous cars...

1. 85 Civic Hatch...$400. How I started to love and learn honda.

2. EG8...Swapped out D15b7 and Dropped in B16a2 in 2006. Had many mods, no need to list.

3. AP1 SilverStone...So fresh. No mods yet.

New pictures as of Feb 2012

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Aug 2011:

First thing I did was Axle Bucket swap...Had pitted buckets...Lots of rumble on acceleration.
If you do this remember that the rumble will now be on deceleration, but not too bad.

This cost me $9 in synthetic grease, that's it. Dealer ship was going to $1,800.
From "Import Shop" to get re-manufactured axles was going to run me $500.

Took me 3 hours, NO AIR TOOLS, working on the street, and I had to stop because it started to rain like crazy.
Best fix ever. No need for spacers. ITS LIKE A WHOLE NEW CAR.

Just left the rear end,
Removed wheels,
Removed ABS bolts,
Removed Lower ball-joint,
Removed 6 bolts on diff side,
Removed Boot-band on diff side,
Pulled of Bucket,
Cleaned Bucket,
Filled Bucket with grease,
and re-installed.

I'm in Churchville/Bel Air not terribly far from you, I know 5-6 people within 5 miles of here with S2000's. Do what you said, keep it stock/close to stock and drive it!!! I go out for drives routinely just to have fun with the car and sounds like you'll be doing a lot of the same. Enjoy the car, it's meant to be driven!
