Oh yeah .. The Carbeau's are mine. He has to bring over the other one. I will order my seat rails once we see if they will work with Buddy clubs. Oh yeah ... so Steve I need to use one of your buddy club rails for a quick second on sunday to see if it fits that seat lol.

If you need them out of your garage I can take them home, Tony.

Haha that's awesome guys. I'll be back in NYC tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting up and getting this ish done! I'd prefer we start early if we have that much to do. I'll have to stop by with the seats first then come back with my car anyway.

What's early? We started before 11 last time. Tony did take forever to do his seat swap with John though lol

What is involved in putting the seats in? Just curious because I thought it was an easy swap.

It is an easy swap. Technically it's just 4 bolts for each seat to the floor. The most time consuming part is adjusting the brackets for the seat mounts so that:

1) The rail holes actually line up with the floor holes
2) The seat is at the desired height
3) Since the independent rails (left and right side for each seat) don't link to each other other than the seat you also have to make sure they're lined up as well or it doesn't slide easily
4) In my case, loop the harnesses through the holes and make sure they fit right especially the sub belts that go to the crotch

It's all very easy, just tedious. Last time I did this I took each seat in and out of my car maybe a good 8-10 times before I got it right and once everything was done I stripped one of the rear bolts because I tried to rush it.

Is yours minty fresh like mine? If I do swap I need cash on top too. Red is rare, Frenchy! lol

And that is a spring project. Takes long to take interior apart.

Im gonna come by when you guys do this, I need to see how you do it because I will be doing the same this very soon. My bolt holes never lined up :( when i had the pole position in the driver only one side lined up and now it in the passenger only 3 of them line up.

When are you guys planning on doing this?
