That's a negative. A 2JZ will give you more power under the curve, spool massive turbos earlier, and the longer wheelbase makes that power more manageable.

The S2k is a lightweight, fun, tossable roadster. It has no business making 500hp, let alone 1000.

Yeah, I guess you are right. Considering Many s2k's on video yank equivalent hp Supras. Let alone HONDZLLA hanging with a higher hp Supra...Check it out in Street Encounters. I have NEVER seen a Supra with the same HP pull on an FI S2k. Hmmm..let me see. There's gearing that comes into play, power to weight.........

Maybe you've never driven a 500hp S2000??

That's right about where my power level is and it's an absolute blast to drive up in the twisty mountain roads
