So I had an idea today of maybe having a raffle open to the local Music City guys. We could do something like 100 tickets or so total and like 2 or 3$ a ticket, take half of the money and use it for a prize (TBD before the raffle of course) and then I was thinking the other half we could put towards Music City S2K events such as helping pay for drives/meets/hotels/food. Anything really. I was just thinking it'd be a cool way for us to come together, win cool things, and ultimately we'll be putting money towards things that as a group we will benefit from. It's something I would be more than happy to organize and take on. Being home all the time gives me a little more advantage. Examples of prizes I've thought of are things such as Mishimoto radiator hoses, genuine Honda accessories, Gift Cards, etc. etc.

Post up other ideas and also if you guys would be interested in something like this. I think it's something that could work out extremely well and be a lot of fun.

You could tie in a monthly meet for the drawing. Could boost the attendance a little.
The best way to become a millionaire in car racing, is to start with two million!

Good idea. Another thing the funds can go towards as far as outings are concerned are like our group brewery and distillery tours. I guess people just need to give me good ideas for prizes. Obviously we would need enough interest in the prize to at a minimum break even with the drawing. If there is a raffle where there is a lot of extra money that comes in we could do multiple prizes.....one main prize and maybe a gift card or two.....really the possibilities are endless.

Exactly. I was trying to think of things that would benefit everyone. Because clearly David no longer owns an S and some people don't want to mod/may already have said mod, but either way I think this would be a good way for us to raise money for our local group.

I think Alex should buy the first round of tickets for everyone since he drives a Porsche.

Bringing this back to the top.... I was thinking we could do like a 25 or 50$ gas card for the first one and see how it goes. We can have tickets be a buck or two and limit it to like 100 tickets. I'll probably end up buying 10 myself at a buck. Numbers will be assigned in the order that "tickets" are purchased and a random number generator will decide the winner.

Just remember, the money generated is going right back to us for group events and/or future/better prizes.
