Hi Guys

I know this has been coverd many times, but is there any cold air inductions that have been proven on the dyno for decent gains?

I was looking at s2k forum in states and this guy in europe invented the puffo air filter that claims 13hp

Here in oz is it illegal to have a filter without the box?

Im thinking of just putting a K&N filter to replace the standard using the same S2k box, My mechanic said dont bother as there are no gains.

To give you a rough idea, cheap and proven for gains - K&N FIPK, cost ya 300 bux new from the US. about 5.7hp increase according to a dyno from what i remember.

Otherwise, get a password jdm intake which'll cost you 6 times the price of an FIPK just for a few more hp.

Go read that thread anyway your answers are there, and don't do a drop in if you want gains. Drop in adds a little bit of sound, not even much. It's crap.

He didn't say he'll be selling it anytime soon.
Regardless, it's 1.5hp over mugen.
