Spark plug tube seals were shot. New seals will stop that from happening.

It goes right on, as long as the seals are sitting as show in pic B :)

Hey guys, is the new cover supposed to rock right to left a little before its bolted down? Mine doesnt seem to fit snug and its not being obstructed.

When i start bolting it down however its seems to fit good. Does this sound right?

p.s. being that im an idiot I over torqued 2 for the bolts that bolt the valve cover onto the head, (didnt know they were so easy to break, prob because of the rubber circle thingys), but now i gotta get new bolts and the things on the head they drive into :( What is the right way to do this?

Yes the cover will rock...the new seals are snug.

Once the cover is on, look down the plug holes and make sure the seal has pulled over the tube. A small dull object can be used to help push it. Push them just until they clear the top of the tube.

Dude bring the thing to me you seem to be having trouble :) i have all the parts, even the towers where your bolts broke.

I totally would if I had a tow truck/trailer, how would i drive without a vc. But I will the next time i gotta do something... I simply dont have the resources in my tiny garage..

I wish i knew u had the towers, I bought 2 new ones from majestic honda.. and 8 new bolts. Which is also the reason why its not done yet because im waiting for the shit to arrive. (still not to late to cancel) :)

Put the new VC on guys. Successfully. Thanks for all your helps.

Still not sure I tightened it enough though. Do you guys know if those bolts that hold the cover on snug down? Thats how I broke them last time.

I'm doing the same thing and four seals are STUCK STUCK on valve cover. They are not easy to come out... I tried pulling with pliers and one of them ripped and spring came out (I didn't even know there was spring in the rubber seal). I even tried using flat head screw driver and pry it out carefully and they still won't come out. I tried hammering it carefully using flat head screw driver... Won't even move. It's going to be fun night....

Update: best way to remove them, is by placing the valve cover on a table as if it was on the car, finding where the seals meet the valve cover, use a taped flat head screwdriver and a rubber mallet knock them off
